About Us

3 John 1:2 says "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in ALL things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." 

This verse is what inspired the beginning of August Pearl Designs. I chose this verse to let others know the Lord's grace, mercy, and love is all encompassing. 

In October of 2016, I was inspired by this verse to start making jewelry. The revelation of a prosperous soul is having an attitude of gratitude wherein joy and blessings flow. 

In that very same month, I was asked to join a Makers Fair at my church, to where an amount of the proceeds would go to missions. What started out as a desire to help with a women's ministry fundraiser at my "home" church, became a personal mission to bring the love of God and  His goodness to others through jewelry. 

The Lord showed me that He was the One who put all  things in place: the desires in my heart, the people in my life who inspired and encouraged me, and all the skills and talents. So only He would be glorified.

I pray that you and others may prosper spirit, soul, and body, through Gods Word and the divinely inspired beauty of each piece of our fine leather jewelry.
